Skip Queen, the well-renowned cutting horse rider, founded Queen Wood Products over a decade ago. Due to the high performance demands required by cutting horse riders, we researched and then developed a unique product to meet the highest standards in both performance AND affordability. Our plant is located outside of the town of Allendale, SC next to the C.F.P. Ranch, the horse training facility where Skip and his wife Elizabeth, also a cutting horse rider, lived and trained for years. Queen wood shavings come from a nearby sawmill using local choice timber, affording us a very low production cost structure while offering a higher quality product.
Our shavings are known as Planer Mill Shavings whereby only the finest pieces are planed. We offer three distinct product lines to meet each of our customer's unique needs including our famous Curly Cue, Easy Sift™, and Original wood shaving horse bedding.
